Abstract: This dissertation investigates the possibility of formulating a conception of the moral subject based on the psychoanalytic paradigm. To this end, it begins with a confrontation between the main modern philosophical theories of morality, notably the proposals of Descartes, Kant, Schopenhauer, and Nietzsche, and the psychoanalytic models of subjectivation developed by Freud and Lacan. The research argues that the hypothesis of the unconscious, by dismantling the idea of an autonomous and self-transparent subject, imposes new limits and challenges to traditional ethics. At the same time, it seeks to identify whether, and to what extent, psychoanalysis offers viable alternatives for rethinking the moral subject. It concludes that, although psychoanalysis destabilizes the classical foundations of morality, it allows for the elaboration of a new understanding of the ethical subject, less centered on reason and more attentive to subjective division and to the place of desire in the ethical constitution of the subject.

Abstract: Ce travail se consacre à explorer la complexité de la révolte métaphysique, exposée dans L’Homme révolté (1951), à travers la taxonomie de son non (sa face négative) et de son oui (sa face affirmative), en mettant en lumière ses dimensions éthiques, esthétiques, historiques et métaphysiques. Dans un premier temps, nous analysons la signification du oui et du non de la révolte comme des mouvements intrinsèques à celle-ci et leur rapport à la création de valeurs par l’imposition de limites issues de l’expérience humaine. Ensuite, à partir du commentaire de Camus sur Scheler, nous distinguons la révolte camusienne du ressentiment : ce dernier, purement réactif et destructeur ; celle-là, articulant une éthique solidaire fondée sur la raison et la sensibilité. Parallèlement, nous avançons dans la littérature spécialisée en explicitant l’occidentalisme hégélien de Camus dans sa conception historique de la révolte et, à travers les catégories deleuziennes, nous démontrons que l’absurdisme camusien se distingue des philosophies nihilistes, proposant de les dépasser. Pour mieux comprendre la métaphysique dans la théorie de la révolte, nous comparons de manière instrumentale l’épistémologie camusienne à la théorie de la connaissance kantienne, et nous explicitons la distinction entre la face empirique de la révolte et son aspect métaphysique. Par la suite, nous introduisons le concept de « ressentiment théogonique » pour identifier le Non de la révolte métaphysique, caractérisé par la négation de l’absurde et la tension entre le rejet du monde créé et la dépendance à l’égard de la transcendance divine. Des philosophes et écrivains tels qu’Épicure, Lucrèce, Sade, Milton, Baudelaire et Dostoïevski nous ont aidés à analyser les dangers des révoltes mal orientées. Enfin, nous intégrons cette recherche par l’organisation des bases de la théorie de l’art camusienne, présente dans son essai de jeunesse Art et communion (1931) et dans les idées exposées dans son essai de maturité L’Homme révolté (1951). Dans cette analyse, nous observons comment les langages artistiques les plus divers (architecture, musique, sculpture, peinture, littérature et théâtre) dialoguent avec la théorie générale de l’art comme révolte proposée par Camus.Ce que nous mettons en évidence, afin de souligner la nature du Oui, c’est que pour Camus, l’art constitue une exigence métaphysique d’unité : les hommes, refusant le monde tel qu’il est sans pour autant vouloir s’en évader, exaltent et nient le réel simultanément, mettant en lumière le rôle de l’art comme forme d’affirmation et de dépassement de l’absurde. Ici, la création artistique émerge comme une fabrique d’univers où l’homme peut régner et véritablement connaître.

Abstract: The object of this research is the philosophical problem related to the production of knowledge&#xD;
by black women and the way in which this production is discredited or silenced. The aim of&#xD;
this research is to analyze, based on Miranda Fricker's theory of epistemic injustice (2023) and&#xD;
Kristie Dotson's theory of epistemic oppression (2011; 2012; 2014), how this exclusion&#xD;
manifests itself in epistemic discussions and in the production of knowledge by these women.&#xD;
For this investigation, we will use black feminist epistemology, based on the works of Patricia&#xD;
Hill Collins (2019) and Sueli Carneiro (2023), to examine how black women are affected as&#xD;
knowers. This analysis leads us to question: (i) which criteria are used to validate knowledge;&#xD;
(ii) who holds the power to define these criteria; and (iii) which perspectives are privileged and&#xD;
which are marginalized in this process.

Abstract: The dynamics established through the modern expansion of industrial activity, when&#xD;
capitalism was in its early stage of development, brought about changes in social, economic,&#xD;
and political conditions, establishing a new code of conduct for individuals in society. In&#xD;
Elements of the Philosophy of Right, Hegel performs a diagnosis of the pathologies within&#xD;
bourgeois civil society. While, on one hand, the expansion of the market economy fosters the&#xD;
accumulation of wealth, on the other hand, it also generates poverty. Our objective was to&#xD;
analyze Hegel's conception of poverty within civil society. Poverty is a fundamental theme&#xD;
because it challenges the legitimization of rational ethical life and the realization of freedom.&#xD;
Here, we revisit Hegel's steps through his critical legacy, to present his conception, that is, the&#xD;
concept itself, its actuality, and possible solutions to poverty. In the first chapter, we present&#xD;
Hegel's concept of poverty, as it necessarily arises from the dynamics within civil society; in&#xD;
the second, we investigate the consequences of poverty as the loss of what constitutes the&#xD;
fundamental characteristic of modern times—the individual’s subjective freedom, their right&#xD;
to be recognized and honored as such, and the guarantee of existing in and through society;&#xD;
finally, we examine Hegel's proposed solutions for overcoming poverty and establish their&#xD;
limits.&#xD;
